The Crime Victim Advocacy Program provides free and confidential services to all victims of crime in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties. CVAP (Crime Victim Advocacy Program) is a program of the Emergency Support Shelter located in Longview, WA.
The Crime Victim Advocacy Program has been active in Cowlitz County for 11 years. Also known as CVAP, it serves men, women and children in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum Counties who have been a victim of a crime.
Crimes include but are not limited to: Harassment, Theft, Robbery, Assault, Child Abuse, Elder/Vulnerable Adult Abuse, I.D. Theft, Fraud, Arson, Property Crimes, Homicide, Bullying and more.
The crime does not have to be reported to law enforcement for someone to seek our services.
Our CVAP team provides free and confidential support, validation and referrals to community resources.
